Today, the Swampscott Police Department pays tribute to one of the town’s Gold Star Heroes, Army Specialist Jared Raymond. On September 19th, 2006, Jared made the ultimate sacrifice for our country in the war against terrorism. We hold Jackie and the entire Raymond family in our hearts. The town of Swampscott is forever grateful for his service and sacrifice. 🇺🇸

We recently received heartfelt correspondence from Dr. Hattan thanking Acting Sgt. Sal Caruso and Officer Kevin Reen.

We are so proud of the professionalism, empathy, and care that these two incredible officers bring to our town; especially when responding to our community’s most vulnerable individuals. Thank you both for representing the Swampscott Police Department with such compassion!
