NOW HIRING: PART-TIME COOK
VFW Post 9960
VFW Post 9960 is looking for a reliable and motivated Part-Time Cook to join our team!
This position offers approximately 8 to 15 hours per week with competitive pay and the opportunity to earn tips. It's a great way to earn extra cash before the holidays while working in a friendly, supportive environment.
Responsibilities:
• Prepare and cook meals according to the menu and daily needs.
• Assist with food preparation before service.
• Serve meals in a friendly and professional manner.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized kitchen and serving area.
• Wash dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment as needed.
• Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines.
• Help close and clean the kitchen at the end of each shift.
Qualifications:
• Previous cooking or kitchen experience is preferred but not required.
• Ability to work independently and stay organized.
• Dependable, punctual, and able to work until closing.
• Friendly attitude and strong work ethic.
• Basic knowledge of food safety practices is a plus.
