The SHS page intends to be a social networking page designed to communicate SHS’s upcoming events, student engagement in the classroom, student and staff achievements, and special notices. The Sweeny High School website (www.sweenyisd.org) will still be the best place to access the most up-to-date information about the district, and we encourage you to visit our site often. Sweeny High School reserves the right to delete or remove a posting that violates any of the following rules:
• Contain advertisements or external websites (websites not on the sweenyisd.org domain).
• Break the law or encourage others to do so.
• Contain abusive or inappropriate language, statements, or symbols.
• Identify students and staff in defamatory, abusive, or damaging terms.
• Do not properly consider others’ privacy or offend or provoke others into inflammatory debates.
• Are political.
• Are spam- repeatedly posting the same comment. If a person continuously posts inappropriate comments, Sweeny ISD reserves the right to remove them as page fans. This policy intends not to censor negative or critical information but to protect the rights and privacy of Sweeny High School students and staff. Thank you for helping us create and maintain a friendly and respectful social media environment. Don't hesitate to contact Nicole Larson, Communications Director, at [email protected] if you have any questions.
