Next month, our office will be partnering with Senator Dave Syverson and the Illinois Secretary of State’s Office to host a Mobile DMV event in Sugar Grove at the Sugar Grove Public Library on November 12, 2026. The event will allow constituents to complete basic driver services without a trip to the DMV.

It was a pleasure to join the DeKalb County Economic Development Corporation - DCEDC, the Illinois Department of Commerce & Economic Opportunity and Aermec North America for the groundbreaking of Aermec’s new manufacturing facility in DeKalb County last week.

This $15 million investment will support the construction of a 186,000-square-foot manufacturing facility that will bring both construction and permanent manufacturing jobs to the area. Another great investment that keeps Illinois’ position as a leading manufacturing state strong.

Happy to support the work you're doing to support our youth and promote outdoor recreation!

Thank you to State Representative Jeff Keicher and the Illinois Legislative Sportsmen’s Caucus for supporting archery education in Kane County! 🏹

At this morning’s Forest Preserve District Full Commission meeting, Representative Keicher presented a $500 check through the Illinois Legislative Sportsmen’s Caucus Project to help purchase supplies for our new Arrowwood Point Archery Complex.

The District’s first archery complex opened in June at Mill Creek Greenway Forest Preserve. As we prepare to offer archery instruction classes, this contribution will help purchase five dozen arrows approved by the National Archery in the Schools Program and two Rinehart targets.

These supplies will help participants build their skills and confidence while enjoying a new recreational opportunity in our forest preserves.

So far in 2026, ISP has had 11 Move Over Law-related crashes, injuring two troopers. Please remember to SLOW DOWN and MOVE OVER when passing any vehicle with hazard or emergency lights activated. We all have families and loved ones to get home to; a little extra caution on the roads makes all the difference in saving lives.
