County Line Fire & Rescue would like to extend a sincere thank you to the Sylacauga Housing Authority for inviting us to participate in their Fall Festival!

We had a great time!

Events like these give us a great opportunity to connect with local families, promote fire safety, and inspire the next generation of firefighters. 🧑‍🚒❤️

Thank you to the Sylacauga Housing Authority for having us, and a special thanks to Oak Grove Fire Department for joining us in making this a fun and educational experience for the kids!

Proud to serve our community, build relationships, and make a difference—one interaction at a time! 🇺🇸

CELEBRATING OUR COUNTY LINE FAMILY

At County Line Fire & Rescue, we’re proud to stand beside our members not only when the tones drop, but also as they celebrate the important moments and accomplishments in life.

Recently, we’ve had several reasons to celebrate, and we couldn’t be more proud!

🏆 Damien Davenport was recognized with the Shelby County Public Safety Award for his service with the Columbiana Police Department. This is a tremendous honor, and we are proud to see one of our own being recognized for his dedication to serving and protecting others.

🏐 Kylie Harrison, daughter of FF Brittnie Harrison and Chief Kody Harrison, celebrated Senior Night with the BB Comer High School Volleyball team. Watching our members’ children grow, work hard, and reach these milestones is something special to our entire department.

🏐 Fayelyn Lance, daughter of FF Keith Lance, Lauren Lance, also celebrated Senior Night with the BB Comer High School Volleyball team. We are incredibly proud of Fayelyn and all the hard work and dedication that brought her to this milestone.

These moments may happen outside the firehouse, but they are still victories for our County Line family. Our members sacrifice countless hours serving their community, and it means just as much to us to be there to support their families and celebrate their accomplishments.

From all of us at the 16 house, congratulations to Damien, Kylie, and Fayelyn! 🎉

🚒 Serving our community. Supporting our people.

🚨OUR COMMUNITY NEEDS YOUR HELP TO SAVE A LIFESAVER🚨

If you live in Talladega County and have had to call 911 over the last year or so, there is a very high percentage chance that Deanna Matson was one of the EMTs who rushed to your door.

As a dedicated Mom and a first responder with the Sylacauga Ambulance Service, Deanna routinely works 50 to 80 hours a week. She has dedicated her life to being there for our community during our absolute darkest hours.

Now, Deanna is facing her own medical emergency, and it's our turn to answer the call for her. 🩺❤️

Deanna is currently fighting cancer and urgently needs a life-saving surgery to remove a tumor on her carotid artery.

However, before she can undergo the procedure, she must pay a $4,000 medical insurance co-pay up front. Despite working tireless hours, she simply does not have this money ready to go.

We cannot let a financial roadblock stand in the way of saving her life.

This Saturday, September 26th, local Volunteer Fire Departments and community volunteers will be stationed at various intersections across the area holding a BOOT DRIVE to collect funds for her. 100% of the money collected will go directly toward her surgery costs.

If you are able to give, please consider donating to help this incredible mom and first responder. If you cannot give financially, all prayers are deeply appreciated and desperately needed.
How you can support Deanna right now:

Please hit SHARE to help spread the word across Talladega County! Let's show Deanna that she isn't fighting this battle alone. 💪🚒🚑
