What three-year-old would not want to call this man "Grandpa"??? After a heart attack six years ago, David's family, including his daughter who brought him to the center today, thought of a wonderful way to keep his mind and body functioning as one, by using his skill and experience as a former engineer to build projects on a smaller scale. We love these moments when participants share their gifts with us all. Enjoy!

There's just something about the Stitchers group that takes me home to Saturdays at my Grandma's house. These ladies have been super busy sewing all sorts of creations to be given away to those in need. And, did you know we have our very own Ms. Betty White here at the JCDOA? In her nineties, she is going strong. We are so blessed to have her, and if you watch till the end, you'll see just how precious she is.

We are having a yard sale on November 13th. 10am - 2pm. Tables are $10. We have 22 tables. Please contact the front desk...

Our congregate lunch crew enjoyed a little impromptu entertainment today thanks to Kim Shuler, who sang many old favorites, and Martha Vinson and Steven Christensen, who happily danced along in the background.
