High School wrapped up the final Early OCC Training session for getting ready to start their journey at Onondaga Community College 🎓

Over the past several sessions, students have learned about college expectations, campus resources, academic responsibilities, and the skills needed to make a successful transition to college life.

A big thank you to Flagan Prince for joining our final session to share valuable information about OCC, answer students’ questions, and provide encouragement as they look ahead.

We are incredibly proud of these students and all the hard work they have put in to prepare for their future. We can’t wait to see what they accomplish as they take this exciting next step toward college and career success! ⚛️🎓

Mission Accomplished! Huge congratulations to the Middle School rocket team, “Mission Impulsible I," for a stellar performance at the Museum of Science & Technology - MOST Rocket Challenge!

Their rocket reached an incredible height of 228 feet, followed by a picture-perfect parachute deployment that brought it back to Earth smoothly. Most importantly, their brave "Eggstronaut" returned completely safe and unscratched! We are so proud of these for aiming high and sticking the landing ⚛️🚀

5th grade brought history, sports, science, entertainment, and more to life during our Celebrity Wax Museum! 🎭✨

As the culminating event for their year-long research projects, students transformed into their chosen celebrities, sharing speeches, fun facts, and everything they’ve learned throughout the year. From athletes to inventors to performers, each student worked incredibly hard to research, write, present, and truly become their own person for the day.

We are so proud of the confidence, creativity, and dedication they showed during this special event. Thank you to all the families who came to support our students and celebrate their hard work!

On Friday, May 29th, Elementary School recognized the students that exemplified the character trait of Teamwork. Teamwork is the combined action of a group of people, especially when effective and efficient.

On Thursday, May 28th, High School had the honor of celebrating our who earned Dean’s List recognition for three consecutive quarters!

Students, families, and staff came together for a special dinner honoring the hard work, dedication, and perseverance these scholars have shown throughout the year. Students were also given certificates recognizing their outstanding academic achievement.

Elementary School Chorus and Ukulele Club members celebrated the culmination of their clubs with a joint concert! 🎶🎤

Mr. Huyge has been working with these talented 3rd and 4th for months to prepare several songs, and the students were finally able to perform for friends and family! Thank you Mr. Huyge and great job, Atoms!

Middle School scholars took a trip around the world—without ever leaving the building! 🌎✈️

and families came together for our annual Cultural Cruise, featuring presentations representing over 10 different cultures. Guests had the opportunity to explore traditions, learn about countries from around the world, enjoy delicious homemade foods and drinks prepared by students, and experience a beautiful cultural dance performance.
