Today we remember D-Day, June 6th, 1944. On the beaches of Normandy, Allied forces stormed ashore and began the liberation of Europe during World War II.
We honor the courage, sacrifice, and service of all who fought that day, and we remember those who never came home.

Officer Nye and K9 Bomber have successfully completed a 10 week Patrol and Tracking School and are now ready to hit the streets.
Throughout the course, K9 Bomber trained in obedience, tracking, building searches, apprehension work, and a wide range of additional skills essential to patrol operations.
Officer Nye chose the name “Bomber” in honor of Detective William "Bomber" Lashomb, who passed away in 2020. This naming serves as one of several ways the department continues to honor and keep Detective Lashomb’s memory present.
K9 Bomber we are confident you will honor the name well. Congrats to Bomber and Officer Nye!
