Robin Toner was the first woman to be a national political correspondent for the New York Times. The Toner Prize for Excellence in Political Reporting honors her work. The prize goes to the best U.S. national or local political reporting on any platform—print, broadcast or online. Entries must be fact-based reporting, not commentary.
