Please Join Us Tomorrow at Whitebranch Library for free backpacks, books and school supplies, to enter raffles and enjoy snacks, stories and activities. While you're there, register your child for Pre-K or Kindergarten for the 2026- 2027 school year!

Last year, something special happened. Families gathered. Children met authors. Books were shared. Stories came to life. The Light A Candle For Literacy Parade & Children’s Book Festival brought our community together in a powerful way, and we’re getting ready to do it all again. Introduce your kids to the fundamentals of track and field with our Mini Cougars clinic in partnership with Syracuse City School District!

These clinics are designed to teach young athletes to create an environment that inspires growth on and off the track.

Participants will build confidence, stay active, learn healthy habits, make new friends and experience the power of teamwork.

I’m a meteorologist, but I’m also a mom anxiously awaiting what schools decide to do for tomorrow. In the meantime, here are some great ideas to have some STEM fun with the kids during the snow storm! Flakes are flying, we’re just getting started! Steadiest of the snow still on track from Sunday afternoon-evening and breaking up to scattered snow showers (and eventually lake effect) midday Monday.
