We're closing out National Salvation Army Week by celebrating some of our fiercest competitors (and some of our most beloved neighbors).

Our Senior Social Day Program is home to a group of adults who bring the energy, the laughs, and a highly competitive spirit when the games come out. But beyond the fun, this program is doing something truly meaningful every single day, providing nutritious meals, personal care, wellness activities, and real community in a warm and welcoming setting.

Thanks for following along all week as we celebrate with a look into our programs. We couldn't do what we do without your support!

When a family is in crisis, where do they turn?

On Day 4 of , we're shining a light on something many people don't know: The Salvation Army provides a full continuum of family and child welfare services across Onondaga County.

From keeping families together, to supervised visitation, domestic violence support, and behavioral health services for kids ages 0–21 — we walk with families through their most difficult moments.

These programs may not make headlines, but they change lives.

In honor of National Salvation Army Week, we're showing some love to some of our incredible community partners the best way we know how... with donuts. All week long, we're heading out into the community to spread a little sweetness and a whole lot of gratitude for all the ways Syracuse is helping to Do the Most Good.
