Then we have the program for you! Join Megan for Pathways & Paperbacks at 5 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 13, at the WACF Property, 11586 IN 13, Syracuse! Bring your smartphone and/or camera for a photo scavenger hunt. Also, share your favorite reads during the walk and uncover new reads.

If you've recently been logged out of Libby and are now struggling to get back in, you're not alone! We did a post last week about Libby now requesting your library pin/passcode, but since we are still getting a lot of confusion, we wanted to do a follow up!

Your library passcode/pin is the four digit number you received when you signed up for a library card. Usually we give it to you on a sticky note.

😑 But, Sarah, that was ages ago!!! I know, I know. I don't even know what my original passcode was. The good news is you can get a new one! Call the library at (574) 457-3022 or swing by in person. You can set your own or we can send you a reset email. You will need your library card number to do this reset.

What about over FB messenger or the library website's contact form? To meet Evergreen patron privacy policies, we cannot handle sensitive information using these means of contact. It must be over the phone or in person at the library.

🌞Every day is a bit different at the Syracuse Public Library. Sometimes, we're breaking out the microfilm to help a patron uncover their family history. 📜🌳

Have you used our microfilm scanner? It truly opens a portal to a different era. Sarah got a little teary-eyed when she saw an ad from Gropp's Fish. She really misses that fish. 🐟🤤

Enough about fish! We can help you use the microfilm or complete searches if given a targeted range. Of course, searches depend on time availability.

Teens with the writing bug can find like-minded friends at the young adult writing club from 4-5 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 8, in the Rosalyn Jones Room. The library encourages teens to bring their pieces to share alongside any writing questions they may have. If they are struggling with writer’s block, the library has different writing prompts available to spark creativity; they can also crowd-source tips from other attendees.

Syracuse Public Library is excited to welcome Brandon Olson from Kosciusko County Soil and Water Conservation District for a special educational program about our native amphibians! Join this free program from 1-2 p.m. Friday, Oct. 16, in the library's downstairs meeting room. From toads and frogs to salamanders, be prepared to learn about our little friends!
