Cadet Highlight! Cadet Price spent the last two weeks at Fort Drum with his unit, A Co., 572nd BEB, conducting their annual training. While there, he participated in heavy demolition and served as OPFOR for the infantry, executing both defensive and offensive lanes. He also had the opportunity to compete for and earn the prestigious German Armed Forces Proficiency Badge.

Cadet Highlight!
Cadet Caravita recently traveled to South Africa with the Hendricks Chapel Choir. They made stops in Johannesburg, Drakensberg, Cape Town, and other cities. At the concerts, they collaborated with local choirs, including the University of Johannesburg Choir and the Drakensberg Boys Choir.

Flashback Friday!
Last month, our battalion conducted its final 12-mile ruck of the year. This physical training is essential for preparing our cadets ahead of CST.

Congratulations to our newly commissioned 2LTs!
On May 8, 2026, Syracuse University Army ROTC commissioned 24 new Second Lieutenants at our Spring Commissioning Ceremony. There, they received their 2LT rank, commission from the United States Army, and their first salute from an NCO of their choosing. Congratulations to the Class of 2026!

Dining In!!
Last Friday, Stalwart Battalion conducted its annual Dining in, along with its change of command ceremony. Cadets enjoyed sampling the delicious grog, and attempted to demonstrate their comedic talents in their class skits. The battalion also got the chance to say farewell to several cadre members, including our PMS LTC Coyne.

Last Lab!
Last Friday, Stalwart CDTs attended an aviation briefing from our very own Captain Tetro! He shared his experiences in Army Aviation and answered questions from cadets about the branch.

MSIV Highlight: Cadet Drissi!
Today we are recognizing Cadet Drissi. He will graduate with a degree in Construction Management this May. Afterwards, he will commission into the Reserve Component as a Logistics Officer.

CFTX!
This semester, Stalwart Battalion conducted its annual CFTX alongside Clarkson and Cornell. CDTs from all three programs worked together to conduct tactical lanes in preparation for CST this summer.
