Our Fire Department was proud to support the Minoa Fire Department Annual Field Days this weekend. Members of our department participated in the Firemen's Pushball competition on both nights of the event, demonstrating teamwork, determination, and department pride.

In addition to competing in the field events, our members also took part in the annual parade, proudly representing our department alongside fellow firefighters from across the county.

The weekend was a tremendous success, and our department was honored to bring home numerous trophies and awards. Yesterday morning our department hosted our annual live fire training, members participated in a live fire training evolution at the Clay Fire Department Training Tower alongside the Mattydale Fire Department.

Crews had the opportunity to sharpen critical firefighting skills, focusing on fire attack operations as well as Vent, Enter, Search (VES) techniques in a controlled live fire environment. Training like this helps build confidence, teamwork, and proficiency while preparing our firefighters for real-world emergencies.

We would like to extend a sincere thank you to everyone who participated and helped make this training a success. The dedication and commitment shown by all involved continues to strengthen our ability to serve and protect our communities safely and effectively.

Stay safe, and thank you to all of our members for their hard work and professionalism.

Last night , our members took a break from the normal training routine and brought out a classic tradition — Firemen’s Pushball!

The friendly competition tested teamwork, communication, and endurance while giving everyone a chance to have some fun together outside of our usual drills. It’s always great to build camaraderie while sharpening the skills that make our department stronger on and off the fireground.

A great night of laughs, teamwork, and a little healthy competition!
