SAMI students are helping study Dungeness crabs and better understand the health of Puget Sound.

This weekend, they had the incredible opportunity to continue that work alongside Peter Gros of Mutual of Omaha’s Wild Kingdom: Protecting the Wild.

Pretty incredible to see our students contributing to conservation efforts right here in their own backyard!

Big news! SAMI now has a Booster Club to keep our students climbing, backpacking, diving into marine biology, and shredding in our new ski/snowboard mini‑term. These outdoor adventures go beyond what public funding can cover—your support is essential in making it all possible!
How to help:
1. Donate and become a Booster Club member.
2. Join our parent fundraising team—Zoom call in January! Questions/ideas? Visit www.samibooster.org to connect.
Thank you, amazing SAMI families! ❤️🌲🌊

Photo 1: SAMi FFA enjoyed the 1st General Session of the 98th National FFA Convention and Expo where we heard inspiring words from the National officers and from keynote speaker Aric Jackson who reminded us to 1) Destroy our box, 2) Do You Unapologetically, and 3) Give 110% as we strive to empower ourselves and others.

Photo 2:
SAMi FFA and Warren Hills FFA (from New Jersey) finally met in person at convention registration! They are our partner chapter through the Chapter Connect program that paved the way for SAMi FFA to attend National Convention in only our 2nd year as a chapter!
