So grateful to be joining Conscious Growth for a 3rd year in a row. Coming together to alchemize & culture build with such amazing artists & fellow workshop facilitators.

This year I’m bringing y’all a workshop that’s been percolating for years- COMPOSTING WHITENESS 🙌🏼

Together we’ll be supporting our bodies in skilling up to interrupt the survival agreements we’ve made to remain within the context of colonialism/white supremacy & practice cultivating new body-based skills to metabolize our automatic responses that keep us in unconscious complicit relationship with toxic systems of opression.

✨Here’s to equipping our neural systems to function like the magnificent mycelium, within the collective compost piles we are tending, to bring forth the nourishment of belonging & connection to feed our capacity to grow communities truly capable of & -liberation.

Thank you to the wonderful community members and chosen fam who have offered their back yards and gardens for this one of a kind, experiential & embodied skill-up opportunity.

Together we will download and practice, skills and practices centered don strengthening our neural systems to be more equipped for the intensity of the simultaneous collapse & regenerative nature of the present moment. These workshops are for any folks engaged in co-creating a life-centered future & who are standing 10 toes down for our collective survival! On June 23rd, I’m bringing Somatics of Our Collective Survival to Oakland for an evening of embodied practice, collective skill-building, and neuro-coherence in community.

We’re living through a time of profound acceleration—ecological disruption, social upheaval, collapsing institutions, and rapid transformation. Many of us have spent years developing self-awareness and personal healing practices. But what happens when we step into relationship, community, and collective action?

🌱 How do we stay connected when things get intense?
🌱 How do we increase our capacity for challenge, uncertainty, and change?
🌱 How do we cultivate neural systems capable of cooperation instead of fragmentation?

Together we’ll explore the living laboratory of collective survival through movement, rhythm, body percussion, relational exercises, play, and restorative practices that help us strengthen our ability to attuned & respond coherently.

⛓️‍💥Debunking Co-Regulation ⛓️‍💥
Somewhere along the way, co-regulation has come to mean “finding a shared sense of calm.”

And the goal in movement building isn’t to be calm all the time. The goal is neuro-coherence & co-building neural systems that can stay connected to what’s actually happening in the present.

Grief. Rage. Joy. Fear. Excitement. Desire. Urgency.

Can you feel it without disconnecting from yourself?
Can we feel it together without disconnecting from each other?

Co-regulation isn’t just down-regulation. It’s the capacity to move together through the full spectrum of human experience—to find rhythm, connection, and collective capacity across a wide range of intensities.

Because if calm is the only state we trust, we risk freezing in the face of the very challenges that require our creativity, courage, and collective action.

Neuro-coherence is about becoming coherent enough with reality that we can stay present, connected, and responsive to it.
