WOW, WHAT AN INCREDIBLE NIGHT!

Our annual Keep Pierce Blue fundraiser was an absolute success, and I couldn’t be more proud of what we accomplished together!

SOLD OUT! In fact, we’ve officially outgrown our venue and will need a bigger space next year! The room was packed, the energy was contagious, and the excitement never stopped!

A special thank you to our incredible speakers who inspired us, our generous sponsors who made this event possible, and our amazing planning committee who worked tirelessly behind the scenes to bring it all together. I am beyond grateful for the time, dedication, and heart that so many people poured into making this night such a success.

But what made the evening truly special was seeing so many people come together with a shared purpose. The enthusiasm, the conversations, the laughter, and the commitment to keeping Pierce County blue were felt throughout the entire room!

We are building something special here in Pierce County, and Saturday night was a reminder of just how much we can accomplish when we come together.

To everyone who attended, volunteered, sponsored, donated, or helped make this night possible, THANK YOU!

WA’s nearly decade-long initiative to improve the handling of sexual assault investigations entered a new era this week. Over the past nine years, our Sexual Assault Kit Initiative eliminated the backlog of more than 10,000 sexual assault kits across the state. As a result, at least 22 cases have been solved, with more investigations ongoing. Our federal grant for this initiative ended this week, but the work will continue led by our office’s Sexual Assault Investigations Support Team. https://www.atg.wa.gov/news/news-releases/ag-s-office-establishes-permanent-sexual-assault-investigations-support-team
