Rebuilding Together South Sound

Would you tear down an entire wall because of one scuff mark?

Of course not.

So why do we let good homes fall apart instead of fixing them?

For the cost of building 1 new home, we can repair 18.

Every roof patched = a family stays safely housed.
Every ramp built = a neighbor lives independently.
Every home repaired = affordable housing preserved —before it's gone for good.

We're Rebuilding Together, and repair is how we solve the housing crisis.

For Grace, home is where generations connect. She has lived in her New Mexico home for more than 20 years, sharing it with her grandson.
In recent years, home no longer provided the safety or comfort she needed. With a broken window, no handrails for mobility and electricity problems the issues were piling up and being on a fixed income, Grace
felt repairs were out of reach.
Rebuilding Together Sandoval County stepped in to help with repairs, because instead of replacing homes, we fix them —making them safer, more accessible, and easier to maintain for people like Grace.
Our country’s approach to affordable housing isn’t getting us anywhere. We can’t build our way out of it if we let the affordable homes we already have quietly disappear from our communities.

But for the same cost as building 1 new home, Rebuilding Together can fix 18. See how we do it → fix18.org

Would you throw away a dish because its dirty? Why do that to a home that needs repairs? Families are losing their forever homes because they are unable to make repairs that could make them livable again. Every home we don’t save makes the housing crisis harder to solve.
Rebuilding Together can fix 18 homes for the cost of building 1. That's 18 neighbors that remain housed. We can work together for our community.

Safeguard the homes we already have. Meet Rebuilding Together and discover the idea behind Fix18.

🔨 WE DID IT, ReBuilders! 🎉

Last Wednesday's Hammers, Nails & Cocktails at Chambers Bay Distillery's Town Center Tasting Room was nothing short of amazing — and it's all because of YOU.

Together, we raised over $15,000 AND met our $5,000 challenge match, meaning every dollar donated to the match was doubled. That's life-changing impact for neighbors right here in our community.

A huge thank you to our incredible sponsors who made the evening possible:
💛 Heritage Bank
💛 Stewart Title Puget Sound
💛 Richey May Washington

And to everyone who came out, bid, donated, and cheered us on — we are so grateful. This is what community looks like. 🏠❤️

Stay tuned for updates on the homes we'll be repairing with your support!
