Please read if you have indoor fair exhibits.

By now you should have your fair tags, if not we are here till 4:30.

Please check for any missing tags, incorrect information, and changes that need to be made.

If you find a mistake or need something changed, email [email protected]
You can make the changes on the tag you have so your item has a tag but please email Carolan so she can change it in the system! That will keep the chaos down during check in days :)

We can't wait to see all your entries in person!

A FEW TIPS FOR YOUR INDOOR EXHIBIT TAGS:

Know how many items you entered.
You will receive your tags along with a packing list of all your entries.

Attach tags securely.
Tags can be attached using string, zip ties, tape, or pins.

When possible, place the tag so it is easy to see when hanging.
This helps during check-in and judging.

Fold the bottom of the tag up to hide your name.
After judging, tags will be unfolded so names are visible and you can brag about what you have done!

The bottom of the tag is a perforated piece.
Tear it off and keep it for your records.

FAIR REMINDER: ALL ENTRIES ARE DUE AUGUST 31!

This includes ALL livestock, contests, and indoor exhibits.

If you think you might participate or bring an exhibit, please enter it now. We would much rather have something entered that doesn't show up than have something show up that was never entered.

Once entries close, fair staff must manually add late entries. It is much easier for us to remove an entry later than to add one after the entry deadline.

With summer break around the corner, many parents are asking the same question: Is my child ready to stay home alone?

OSU Extension educators say there’s no “magic age.” Maturity, responsibility and confidence matter more than a number.
Before making the decision:
• Practice short test runs
• Review emergency plans
• Discuss house rules
• Talk about kitchen and internet safety
• Make sure your child feels comfortable

Find more tips from OSU Extension to help children stay safe and confident this summer.
