What a beautiful setting for fellowship and sharing our mission!
Presbyterian Home for Children President and CEO Doug Marshall, along with Vice President of People, Culture, and Administration Stephani Burton and Development Director Suzanne Cornett, attended the Presbytery of North Alabama meeting at the beautiful Camp Maranatha.
Doug shared an update on the Home's ministry, including the success of our Robinson Family Unity Center in reuniting mothers with their children, progress on our $1.7 million Journey Capital Campaign to renovate our historic campus, and the outstanding achievements of Ascension Leadership Academy, where four graduates earned a combined $240,000 in college scholarships this year.
We are especially grateful for the pastors and congregations of the Presbytery of North Alabama who faithfully support our mission through their prayers, generosity, and encouragement. Their partnership helps us provide hope, healing, education, and brighter futures for vulnerable children and families.
And what a blessing to gather at Camp Maranatha! The beautiful property provided a peaceful and inspiring setting to reconnect with our Presbyterian family and celebrate the work God is doing through our shared ministry.
Thank you, Presbytery of North Alabama, for your continued friendship and faithful support!
