📚Strive for Five in Motion! 📚

Look at our amazing Pre-K and Kindergarten teachers learning together! ❤️💙

At Leon County Schools, kindergarten readiness starts long before the first day of kindergarten! By bringing our Pre-K and Kindergarten teachers together to collaborate, share strategies, and learn from one another, we’re building a stronger foundation for our youngest learners.

Today’s professional learning focused on the power of intentional conversations, including asking guiding questions that challenge young minds and scaffolding instruction upward and downward to meet children where they are while helping them grow! 🧠💬

A HUGE thank you to our partners at the Florida Center for Reading Research (FCRR) for supporting our teachers and helping us turn research into meaningful classroom practices!

When our teachers learn together, our students grow together! 🌟
