Oct 15 - A few more warm days before a cold front sweeps through the local area. Cooler temperatures will arrive in its wake. Bigger concern is the wind, especially impacting hurricane recovery efforts. Wind speeds to 35 mph over land and 40 knots over coastal waters. Secure loose outdoor items and boaters should remain in port.

10/10, 6 am ET:

Isaias weakened overnight and is now post-tropical. All Hurricane and Tropical Storm Warnings have ended. 🎉

🌧️🌪️ We are left today with a lingering threat of heavy rain and a tornado or two over the eastern Big Bend and south-central GA. Those lingering threats will end after this evening.

Isaias left plenty of hazards behind, particularly over the Panhandle and SE Alabama. There are lots of downed trees, power lines, streams are rain-swollen, and there's standing water. Use caution as you emerge today from your safe place. Only use generators outdoors.
