Congratulations to our very own Laura Gayle Green, head of the Warren D. Allen Music Library for her upcoming work on the Grove/Oxford University Press panel discussion: “Recovering lost voices: Women and marginalized musicians in music research”. Be sure to tune in on October 29 to view a fascinating discussion!

Something bookish this way comes! Join the AML staff this Friday for our first story time of the Fall semester, now in the newly refurbished west alcove. What’s being read? You’ll have to come by at 1:30pm to find out!

We're back and better than ever upstairs! We now have comfy seating and tables/chairs in BOTH our West and East alcoves! Scroll through for some different angles of what you can expect when you come back to the library!

It's Summer Intersession again which means shortened public hours! Plan accordingly and remember to request your books/scores through the online catalog so we can pull them for you while upstairs is closed!

We're remodeling a bit upstairs! Due to persistent water leaks in the MT alcove (next to the stairs), we're shifting materials to the center and seating to the alcove! This means a lot of books and scores on carts/tables/boxes and maybe a bit of noise upstairs. Because of this, the second floor will be closed to the public starting next week. Don't fret though - you can still request items in the library catalog and we'll pull them for you!

We are closed for the long holiday weekend, July 2-6! We will reopen with regular summer hours on Tuesday, July 7 at 9am!
