Florida Home Builders Association The mission of the Florida Home Builders Association (FHBA) is to create a climate in which the construction industry can prosper.

The Florida Home Builders Association (FHBA) is one of the most dynamic trade organizations of its kind in America. Affiliated with the National Association of Home Builders (NAHB) and 26 local/regional home builders associations around the state, FHBA enjoys a legacy of success spanning 65 years. At its core, FHBA is about advocacy and its legislative, legal and political initiatives have worked together to create the best possible economic and regulatory environment for our members to succeed. In addition to advocacy, FHBA provides members with timely news and information, high-quality education and a wide array of competitively priced products and services. Community service and public awareness are also part of FHBA’s mission highlighted by the trademarked Parade of Homes ® presented annually by local/regional HBAs and student scholarships for members of the Future Builders of America (FBA) program. FHBA affiliations include the Southeast Building Conference (SEBC), Florida Home Builders Insurance, Inc. (FHBI) and the Vendor of Choice program. Happy Boss’s Day!

Here’s to the great bosses who lead with integrity, inspire their teams, and make a difference every day! And to those lucky enough to work for a great boss, today is the perfect opportunity to show your appreciation.

The FHBA staff is especially grateful for the leadership of our CEO and Chief Lobbyist, Rusty Payton, and CFO/COO, Kimberly Scott. Their dedication and guidance keep our association moving forward, and we’re lucky to have them at the helm!

We’re pretty sure if we can get 50 comments saying nice things about Rusty and Kimberly, they’ll give the entire FHBA staff next Friday off. They haven’t agreed to this yet, but help us out in the comments anyway! 😉

Through our close collaboration with Volunteer Florida, 1,000 tarps have been delivered to FHBA Chair-Elect Alton Lister’s office for distribution to FHBA members impacted by Hurricane Isaias.

We are grateful to Volunteer Florida for their partnership and commitment to helping our building industry recover, and to our leaders in West Florida helping coordinate these efforts on the ground.

As our communities begin the recovery process, FHBA remains committed to supporting our members and helping Florida rebuild stronger.
