Today, we are highlighting Will Atkins, President of the New Tampa Democrats.

Born and raised in South Florida, Will recently retired after 22 years of dedicated military service. 🇺🇸 Having seen Florida change significantly over the years, he moved to Tampa with his wife and daughter with a renewed sense of purpose.

Since stepping into his role, Will has built upon our local foundation to drive us toward even more direct action and a rapidly growing membership. He is deeply committed to the mission of getting Democrats elected up and down the ballot across the entire state.

We are thrilled to have his energy leading our community forward! 💪🗳️

Tonight is the night, New Tampa.

We talk a lot about "making a difference," but tonight is where that becomes a reality. This isn’t just another monthly meeting; it’s our chance to get face-to-face with five people who want to represent us on City Council.

We are proud to welcome Gene Siudut as one of our featured speakers. Gene has called Tampa home for over 25 years and has dedicated his life to community service and leadership.

Most importantly, Gene is taking his commitment to the next level as a prospective candidate for Tampa City Council, District 7.

He believes that involvement and shared accountability are the keys to a better city for everyone.

About Gene:
Community Leader: He currently serves as the Board Chair for the New Tampa YMCA and was honored as their 2023 Volunteer of the Year.

Youth Advocate: He’s been a fixture on the court, coaching nearly 500 youth basketball games.

Arts & Culture Champion: He also leads as the Board Chair of the Friends of the New Tampa Performing Arts Center.

Come hear Gene’s vision for District 5 and learn how we can all stay involved in the future of our city.
