Hello everyone, we're building a conference right here in Tampa FL in order to build support for the Tampa 5 as they begin their court appearances. The Tampa 5 are students and workers who protested the DeSantis-backed legislative attack on diversity programs, ethnic studies programs, and multicultural organizations and were attacked by University of South Florida Police for it. They've been unjustly charged with a cumulative 8 felonies. The defendants are Chrisley Carpio, Lauren Pineiro, Gia Davila, Laura Rodriguez, and Jeanie Kida. We want to make it clear that the defendants did nothing wrong, and that they're heroes for resisting DeSantis's outright assault on the people of Florida this year. This is an opportunity for all to come together and build the movement that will humiliate and topple the DeSantis regime in Florida
