Did You Know You May Be Able to Get Documents Notarized Without Meeting a Notary in Person?
Let's talk about Remote Online Notarization (RON)!
A Remote Online Notary is a certified commissioned notary who performs a notarization through a secure online audio-video session instead of meeting the signer face-to-face.
Here's how it generally works:
1. Verify your identity. You complete the required identity verification process.
2. Connect online. You meet with the notary through a secure audio-video platform.
3. Sign and notarize. The notary completes the applicable notarization requirements electronically.
4. Receive your documents. Your electronically notarized documents can be made available to you after the session.
Why consider RON?
✔️ Convenient for people with busy schedules
✔️ No need to travel to meet the notary
✔️ Helpful when signers are in different locations
✔️ An option for certain estate planning documents, when legally permitted and accepted by the receiving party
At Ohana Virtual Services, I offer both Remote Online Notarization and mobile notary services. If online notarization isn't the right fit for your situation, an in-person appointment may be an option.
