What do you want in your neighborhood?

Across the Bay we all seem to seek similar lifestyle amenities...good food, affordability, vibrancy, safety, genuine community (of course easy access to the best schools/jobs)...

What neighborhood stands out as a leader in your opinion? Price not being a concern...I would have two places:

1) A Hyde Park house/townhome/condo/apartment within a 10 minute walk/bike ride to Bartaco;

2) A similar abode near The Getaway Maximo.

What do Tampa downtown dwellers want? Latest survey results are in The latest biennial survey conducted for the Tampa Downtown Partnership shows a growing love for city dwelling, especially access to the Tampa Riverwalk, but people want more shopping and transportation options.

Best burger (by boat), I vote for Café Dufrain, Best Rum Runner... Rick's on the River,
Best sunset... Sand Dollar (no docks but my favorite for calm seas or wind from the east, also a must by car or bike if you are not boating),
Best overall Mar Vista,
So many great choices...but only 52 weekends per year! Boat safe.
