Alonso High School Theatre Department Lisa Vorreiter. In addition to sponsoring the troupe and directing the department's various plays, Mrs.
Alonso High School, located in Tampa, Florida is home to the award-winning Alonso Theatre Department and International Thespian Troupe 6299, under the direction of Mrs. Since its formation the first year of the school's existence, the troupe has won multiple Superior ratings at the district and state levels. Vorreiter, who has been with the school since its opening, teaches Stage Makeup, Improv, Musical Theater, Acting and the production class ENCORE!
Alonso theatre students attended the District 9 IE FESTIVAL at Wharton last weekend and had an outstanding result!
17 superior ratings and 14 excellent ratings! In addition, our troupe had 4 critics' choice showcases and 2 alternates!
Critics Choice: solo musical, duet musical, small group musical and monologue! Alternate in solo musical and large group musical!
Troupe 6299 is going to State this week! Think good thoughts for us! Hopefully everyone will stay happy and healthy! Keep posted for updates!
Legally Blonde and Trailer Park videos will be posted for cast/crew members and parents in our private groups this weekend. They will not be posted here.
