Seminole Heights Elementary PTA FL PTA MISSION: Our mission is to make every child’s potential a reality by engaging and empowering families and communities to advocate for all children

During its first school year of 1915 to 1916, Seminole Heights Elementary was housed in a wood frame building on the grounds of the present day Seminole Heights Methodist Church. In 1922, the school moved to its present location across Hanna Avenue onto Central Avenue. Seminole Elementary was one of the area's first schools to use modern cold water drinking fountains. In the mid 1920s, the school underwent renovations, followed by more in the 1980s that added four buildings and a media center. The school colors are purple and gold, and the mascot is the double-headed alligator. The school is a uniform school with acceptable uniform colors for tops include purple, gold/yellow, white, black, and navy. The acceptable uniform colors for bottoms include khaki, navy, and black.

Seminole Heights Elementary PTA is looking for local businesses who would like to support our school this year.

We’re a Title I school and many of our families face financial challenges. Our PTA works to help make sure all of our students have access to the same opportunities and experiences as their peers.

Donations help us with school supplies, our school closet, student events, teacher mini-grants, classroom needs and staff appreciation.

We truly appreciate support of any size. If you’re a local business, we’d also love gift cards or products that we can use for raffles and teacher appreciation.

If you’d like to help or learn more about our sponsorship options, please send us a message!
