Also! The Genocide Awareness Project is going to be on campus again today. They are the group that goes around with those huge anti abortion posters. The Spiritual Youth for Reproductive Freedom is an on campus group that says an abortion is a decision that is made between a woman and her God. They are holding a protest all day outside the library where the G.A.P. is set up. Stop by and support them!

Good afternoon everyone! Just wanted to take a minute to remind you about the College Democrats meeting tonight! It's at 7pm in MSC 2703. We will be talking about our upcoming plans for the semester and will have Tim Heberlein of the Hillsborough County Young Democrats coming to talk to us about some exciting opportunities in the area.

Found another Roe v Wade Anniversary event! It's called Roe on the Rocks and will be held at Mangroves SoHo in Tampa. It goes from 2 to 4 pm on Saturday the 19th, and the Director of Florida Watch Action will be there to talk about what Roe v Wade means to the people and the challenges it faces in the future.

It looks like it's going to be an awesome event and I highly encourage you to go! Unfortunately I'm going home next weekend, so I'll be jealous of anyone that does get to go!

The 40th Anniversary of Roe v Wade is coming up on January 22nd! Wooo! There's going to be a Commemoration Rally sponsored by Pinellas County NOW from 12pm to 1pm in Downtown St Pete to honor women's reproductive rights.

If you want to go, I highly encourage it! I can get you in contact with Bonni Axler and she can help you with what you can do to help. But showing your support is often times enough! If you want to go, bring signs!

There's likely going to be an event of some sort that the Women's Caucus will be promoting in January for celebrating the 40th anniversary of Roe vs Wade. The information I have on it is very vague right now, but I'll keep everyone posted as I get more info. It'll be around the 22nd, so keep your calendars open! :]
