What difference will you make? Remembering the legacy of Dr. Jane Goodall, in recognition of the recent one-year anniversary of her passing. 🌿🐒💚

Earlier this month, City of Tampa Parks & Recreation, Solid Waste Conservation, and AmeriCorps Green Team members attended the Jane Goodall Institute Roots & Shoots Educator Summit at The University of Tampa.

We were honored to lead a moment of silence commemorating the 25th anniversary of 9/11 and recognizing emergency responders everywhere. 🇺🇸

Continuing Jane’s mission, we spent the day connecting with local educators, making pillows for rescued owls 🦉 and exploring ways to strengthen environmental education and awareness throughout greater Tampa Bay. 🌎✨
