🚌💰 HSEF School Bus Drivers – Let’s Talk Facts 💰🚌

We’ve seen some comments about “only getting pennies and dimes.” But here’s the truth ⬇️

✅ HSEF Bus Drivers are among the HIGHEST PAID in Florida.
✅ No other county in the state guarantees 8 hours a day – that’s an HSEF win.
✅ 10 years ago, top pay was $19.50/hr. Today, it’s $29.56/hr – PLUS $2.22/hr on all guaranteed hours thanks to the millage.
✅ 2025–2026: Drivers will move to a new salary scale with money added to it AND move up a level – locking in even stronger pay for the future.

That’s not “pennies” — that’s real progress. And it didn’t just happen. Every dollar, every raise, every guarantee was fought for and WON at the table by HSEF.

We can’t fix everything in one year, but every contract we win brings real progress. Step by step, HSEF is raising standards for Bus Attendants — and this timeline shows just how far we’ve already come.

🚍✨ HSEF Bus Attendants – Look How Far We’ve Come Together! ✨🚍

Since Bus Attendants became part of HSEF, here’s what we’ve fought for and WON:

1️⃣ Joined HSEF – and immediately started building power together.
2️⃣ Permanent status for EVERY Attendant – which unlocked free insurance & benefits.
3️⃣ More hours & days – guaranteed 6 hours a day, 193 days a year (up from 190).
4️⃣ Historic wage jump – raised from $11.43 to $15.00/hr, YEARS before Florida’s 2026 timeline.
5️⃣ Upgraded pay grade – moved from PG 15 to PG 16, plus multiple one-time payments.
6️⃣ 2025 wins – moving to a new salary chart + one step increase, AND thanks to the millage, +$2.59/hr on all guaranteed hours. Plus the incentives.

💪 Every single one of these victories came from standing united in HSEF. And we’re not done yet. Together, we keep raising the bar for Bus Attendants across the district!
