August is fast approaching, so May, June, and July are the months to turn proclamations into government entities. I've included an example request template and proclamation. All you need to do is add the city/county/town and the leader's name. If you have any questions, please get in touch with me at [email protected].

Yesterday, we celebrated the birth of our nation and the freedoms that unite us as Americans.

Today, I’d like to recognize another reason our country remains strong—the people who build, operate, and maintain the infrastructure that makes our communities safe, healthy, and economically vibrant.

Every day, dedicated professionals in public works, utilities, transportation, engineering, construction, parks, stormwater, water and wastewater, and local government work behind the scenes to keep America moving. They ensure clean drinking water reaches our homes, roads and bridges remain safe, traffic moves efficiently, wastewater is treated responsibly, and communities are prepared before, during, and after emergencies.

These professionals rarely seek recognition, yet their work touches every American every single day.

It is a privilege to support these men and women through education and professional development. By providing high-quality training, we help strengthen the workforce that builds and maintains the infrastructure our families, businesses, and future generations depend on.

I’m proud to stand alongside so many outstanding professionals through organizations such as ICMA, FCCMA, APWA, and FWPCOA. Together, we continue advancing excellence in public service and investing in the people who keep our communities functioning at their very best.

To everyone serving our communities—thank you for what you do. Your dedication truly helps make America stronger.

🇺🇸 Celebrating 250 Years of American Independence 🇺🇸

Today, as we celebrate Independence Day and honor the 250th anniversary of our nation's founding, Tampa Bay Training proudly recognizes the generations of professionals whose dedication, skill, and service have helped build and sustain America.

We extend our sincere gratitude to the local government leaders, public works professionals, utility operators, engineers, construction workers, transportation specialists, emergency responders, environmental professionals, and countless others who work behind the scenes every day to keep our communities strong, safe, and thriving.

From the roads we travel and the water we drink, to the infrastructure that supports our quality of life, these essential professionals embody the spirit of service that has strengthened our nation for two and a half centuries.

As we reflect on 250 years of progress, innovation, and resilience, we recognize that America's success has always depended on hardworking men and women committed to improving their communities and serving future generations.

Thank you for your dedication, professionalism, and unwavering commitment to public service and infrastructure excellence.

From all of us at Tampa Bay Training, we wish you and your families a safe, happy, and meaningful Fourth of July.

Happy Independence Day—and here's to the next 250 years of building a stronger America.
