City Of Taylor Mill Fire / EMS Department The Fire Department started in 1961. Along with Fire Service we also offer Advanced Life Support.

The Fire Department offers many services:

CPR Class
Babysitting Class
Public Education
Car Seat Installation
Burning Permits
Changing Smoke Detector Batteries


Taylor Mill is a Combination Department consisting of Volunteers, Part Time, and Full Time which work 24 Hour Shifts. Staff Perform Duties Such As:

Fire Prevention Inspections
Building Pre-Planning
Fire Hydrant Maintenence

And many other important tasks to the Fire Service

MISSION STATEMENT
The purpose and objective of the Taylor Mill Fire and Emergency Medical Services Department shall be: To provide emergency response to fires, explosions, life squad service, hazardous material response at the operations level and other emergencies to the City of Taylor Mill, Kentucky and/or surrounding areas, and to provide other services for said territory as may be authorized by the Taylor Mill City Council; To promote Fire Prevention and Public Education, Safety Awareness, promote First Aid consciousness and goodwill in the community; To acquire and hold said purpose, money, real estate, or other property considered necessary or incidental to the accomplishment of such purpose; To accomplish these objectives with a combination of volunteers, career and part-time personnel.
