📣 Here is your Friday FAQ about the the Non-Homestead Operating Millage Replacement proposal on the November 3, 2026 ballot.

❓ Question: What does "replacement and restoration" mean?

✅ Answer: The proposal includes the replacement of millage authority that would otherwise expire and the restoration of millage previously reduced through Headlee rollbacks.

Taylor School District is asking voters to consider a replacement and restoration of its existing non-homestead operating millage authority.

The district's current authorization expires with the 2027 tax levy. The proposal would authorize the millage for 10 years, from 2026 through 2035.
