THANK YOU, OCTOBERFEST!

A huge THANK YOU to everyone who stopped by our booth yesterday! Every purchase, conversation, and kind word means more to our little bee farm than you know.

We’re so grateful for everyone who continues to support Nosey Bee Place and allows us to share what we love with our community.

We may still pop up at some sales around the area but don’t forget you can always get our honey online at www.noseybeeplace.com. You can select pickup to avoid paying shipping!

Thank you for an incredible season. We truly couldn’t do this without you!

Well, I was looking for something funny to say… but honestly, there’s not a whole lot going on around here right now!

It’s winter preparation time, and the dearth is officially in full force here in Taylorsville, Kentucky.

We’ve honestly been pretty fortunate this year. Between a mild summer and the rain we’ve received, the girls have had a pretty good season. But now the flowers are fading, the nectar is slowing down, and the bees are basically saying, “Alright boss, what’s for dinner?”

So now it’s time to make sure everyone is ready for winter — checking stores, getting colonies situated, and doing everything we can to send these girls into the cold months ahead strong.

Not the most exciting time of year for a beekeeper… but winter prep now means happier bees come spring!

So if you aren’t working them then you need to get going soon!!

Oh, and don’t mind the tape on my vail I ripped it today! 🤷‍♂️

We are always so proud of our girl but she has taken a love for bees as we have! So deserved and oh so proud!

We're looking forward to seeing everyone this weekend at the Taylorsville farmers market. Please note that we won't be set up at the market on June 20, 2026. If your supplies are running low, please come by and restock. We hope you've had a great week and we look forward to seeing you soon.
