🚨CONGRATULATIONS, CHANCE AND DILLON 🚨

Help us congratulate Chance Dickey and Dillon Glasscock on successfully completing the eight-week Firefighter Academy at Southwestern Illinois College!

Their hard work, dedication, and commitment have paid off as they take this important step toward serving our community as firefighters. Completing the academy is a tremendous accomplishment, and we couldn’t be more proud of their determination and perseverance.

Stay safe, never stop learning, and never forget what it means to answer the call.

🚒🔥 Fire Prevention Week!

The firehouse was full of some pretty special visitors this week! Area preschoolers stopped by to learn about 911, smoke alarms, Stop, Drop & Roll, and what to do in an emergency.

Of course, no trip to the firehouse would be complete without a visit from the one and only Sparky the Fire Dog! 🐾🔥

We loved teaching the kids about fire safety and we think Sparky enjoyed it just as much as they did!

Special thanks to the Taylorville Public Library for providing an interactive craft and story time!
