🌳 **STORM DEBRIS PICKUP & DROP-OFF SITE UPDATE**

**Boulevard Pickup**

City of Tea crews are picking up storm-related tree debris from boulevards today. Crews will remove **large branches and limbs only**.

Small branches, twigs, and leaves left behind are the responsibility of the property owner. Please dispose of these items properly and **do not place debris in the street**. The City will be sweeping the streets, and the street sweeper cannot accommodate branches or other debris.

**Drop-Off Site**

The City’s Drop-Off Site will remain open throughout the entire week and weekend through August 3rd.

đź•— **Hours: 8:00 a.m. to sundown**

Important! The site is restricted to **tree branches only**. Building materials and other debris—including fencing—cannot be accepted.

Thank you for helping City crews safely and efficiently complete the storm cleanup.

STORM DEBRIS & BRANCH CLEANUP UPDATE

The City of Tea has opened the gates to the Drop-Off Site for storm cleanup.

The Drop-Off Site is currently restricted to tree branches and limbs that have fallen as a result of the storm. Please do not bring other yard waste, garbage, or debris to the site.

Curbside Branch Pickup

City crews will also be picking up the large storm-damaged branches that are too large to take to the Drop Off Site.

Residents who would like branches picked up should:

• Drag branches past the sidewalk and onto the boulevard
• Have all branches out by Monday morning, July 27
• Keep branches out of the street and away from vehicles, mailboxes, fire hydrants, and other obstructions

City crews will begin collecting the large branches from the boulevards on Monday.

Thank you for helping our crews clean up safely and efficiently following the storm. Please share this information with neighbors who may not see this post.

🏓 **Pickleball Courts Coming to Prairie Trails Park!**

The City of Tea celebrated the groundbreaking for its new pickleball courts on Monday, July 20. LT Companies has started construction on a three-court facility in the southwest corner of Prairie Trails Park, with completion anticipated in October 2026.

The project will include:
• Three pickleball courts
• Fencing and lighting
• A small shade structure
• A concrete walkway providing access to the courts

The courts were carefully positioned to preserve the park’s open green space used for youth soccer and football practices.

As one of the fastest-growing sports in America, pickleball offers recreational opportunities for families, seniors, youth and competitive players. This investment by the Tea City Council supports healthy lifestyles, active recreation and stronger community connections.

We are excited to see the community enjoying these new courts soon!
