Join us at the park at 10:30 on Wednesday, October 14, for a special storytime and official ribbon cutting, with c***r and donuts, weather permitting.

This project was made possible by funding from the Friends of the Tecumseh District Library and support from the Raisin Township DPW.

The StoryWalk® Project was created by Anne Ferguson and developed in collaboration with the Kellogg-Hubbard Library in Montpelier Vermont. Storywalk® is a registered service mark owned by the Kellogg-Hubbard Library.

We're transitioning to a new online catalog next week!

As we prepare to launch Simplicity ILS, our new online catalog, there are a few things you should know:

1. Holds will be temporarily unavailable.
Beginning Monday, October 19 at 5 PM, you will not be able to place holds through our online catalog. We expect to be up and running with Simplicity by Wednesday morning, October 21.

2. Your PIN will reset.
Your current PIN will not transfer to the new system. Instead, your PIN will automatically reset to 1234. Once we're live with Simplicity, you'll be able to log in and change your PIN yourself.

3. We're here to help!
We know that switching to a new system can take some getting used to. If you run into any problems or have questions, give us a call or email us at [email protected]. We'll do our best to walk you through it!

Thank you for your patience as we make this transition!

We’re upgrading our library system!

Beginning Monday, October 19 at 5:00 PM, Tecumseh District Library will begin transitioning to a new catalog and patron database. The new system will help us better manage our collection and provide an improved experience for the public.

During the transition, some library services will be temporarily unavailable. In particular, *placing holds* will be disabled while we make the switch.

Hoopla and Libby should not be affected, but temporary disruptions are possible.

We expect to be up and running on the new system by Wednesday, October 21.

We appreciate your patience as we make this important upgrade! Staff will be available to answer questions and help with any changes once the new system is live.

Stay tuned for more information as we get closer to the transition!
