Families of future Buffaloes, now is a great time to start exploring what’s next! Join us for Tempe High School’s Showcase Night and learn more about the opportunities available to your student.

Explore academics, athletics, fine arts, CTE programs, clubs, activities and the many ways students can get involved and find their place at Tempe High.

Swipe to Slide 2 for the schedule of our middle school visits, when our counseling team will meet with 8th grade students, and when they’ll return to collect course selection materials after families have had a chance to attend Showcase Night.

If your student attends a TD3 or Kyrene school, be on the lookout for course selection materials after the week of October 26–30.

Can’t wait to meet our future Buffaloes!

The high school transition is coming up, and we’re getting ready to welcome the Class of 2031!

Over the next few weeks, Tempe Union counseling teams will visit 8th graders at Tempe Elementary and Kyrene School District middle schools to share what students can expect in high school and the many opportunities available across our six schools. Students will receive information and handouts to help them start planning for what’s next.

Then, families can explore each high school during our Showcase Nights, featuring academics, CTE, fine arts, athletics, clubs, activities and more.

• Marcos de Niza: November 4
• McClintock: November 5
• Mountain Pointe: November 5
• Tempe High: November 5

Congratulations to Jaiden Hart-Rodriguez on earning an Ed Doherty Award Medallion following his standout performance against La Joya.

The Ed Doherty Award recognizes some of the top high school football players across Arizona. By earning a weekly medallion, Jaiden is now eligible for consideration for the statewide award.

Today, we welcomed about 100 McKemy Academy students for an IB Program visit! Students explored campus, connected with our THS student hosts, and got a taste of what it means to be a Buffalo.
