The Hayden Flour Mill is one of Tempe's oldest icons. It is among the primary reasons our city exists today. Two previous mills burned.

The Hayden Flour Mill no longer hosts events as it is under a development agreement. While the historic building will remain, it will be operated by others. You may wish to consider the Tempe Center for the Arts or Tempe History Museum as alternatives. www.tempe.gov/museum or www.tempe.gov/tca

The Hayden Flour Mill Project The restoration of the historic mill for which the adjacent street is named concluded in 2012. The mill was cleaned, repaired and a lawn with a stage was added.
