In an emergency, the first person there is rarely a paramedic.

It's often a spouse. A parent. A friend. A neighbor.

It's you.

The good news is that CPR is a skill anyone can learn.

Tempe Fire Medical Rescue is now offering affordable CPR certification classes designed for beginners and taught by Tempe Fire paramedics.

Classes are just $30 and include a short online learning component followed by an in-person, hands-on skills session.

You can learn to do this.

Nobody expects to perform CPR. Until they have to.

Most cardiac arrests don't happen in public places surrounded by strangers. They happen at home.

The first person there is often a spouse, parent, child, friend or neighbor.
Immediate CPR can double or even triple a person's chance of survival while professional help is on the way. The good news is that CPR is a skill anyone can learn.

Tempe Fire Medical Rescue is now offering affordable CPR certification classes designed for beginners and taught by Tempe Fire captain paramedics.

Classes are just $30 and include a short online learning component followed by an in-person, hands-on skills session.

Learn CPR. Be ready.
