🚌💛 It’s National School Bus Safety Week! 💚

A huge thank-you to our TISD Transportation Department for all you do to keep our students safe on the road each day! We appreciate your dedication and the important role you play in getting our Jaguars to and from school safely! 🐆💚💛

In Temple Independent School District, student safety is always a top priority!

During National School Bus Safety Week, we want to recognize our dedicated transportation team and remind everyone of the important role they play in keeping our students safe.

🚍 Remember these important safety tips:

🚦Slow down and stop when a school bus has its red lights flashing and stop arm extended.

🛑Never pass a stopped school bus when required by law.

🚶‍♂️‍➡️Stay alert and watch for students near bus stops, schools, and crosswalks.
Remind students to stay seated, follow the bus driver's instructions, and use caution when getting on and off the bus.

A special thank-you to our Temple ISD bus drivers and transportation staff for the care, dedication, and commitment you show our students every day! Together, we can help ensure every student arrives at school and returns home safely. 🚌💙🚌

🍦🔬 Science + Ice Cream = A Sweet Learning Experience! 🔬🍦

Our 3rd grade scientists had a cool time exploring changes in states of matter! Students made ice cream in a bag while investigating how temperature can cause matter to change from one state to another. 🧊➡️🍦

Through this hands-on experiment, students were able to observe, discuss, and explain changes in matter while having a little fun along the way!

We are learning, experimenting, and making sweet memories in 3rd Grade Science! Way to go Jaguars! 💚🐆
