Ever changing and ever evolving, the Beto Unit continues to find new ways to bring hope to the men who walk its halls. Our Unit Artists stand at the heart of this effort. Through their talent, dedication, and vision, they breathe new life into these spaces—reminding everyone who passes by that growth is possible, creativity has power, and light can be found even in the hardest places. Their work doesn’t just decorate the unit; it inspires it. It shows that no matter where you are, you can still create something meaningful, something beautiful, and something that speaks to the possibility of a better tomorrow.

The Beto Unit proudly hosted the Kairos 68 Celebration, a weekend centered on personal transformation and community. The Kairos Weekend features a series of talks where men openly share their life journeys. After each talk, guests gather in small “family groups” to reflect, discuss, and offer support. The program is filled with encouragement and connection, including music, prayer, fun activities, good food, and a generous spirit of care and hospitality. It offers participants a chance to pause, reflect, and experience a sense of renewal.
