We are excited to announce that Thrive West Central has officially partnered with the United States Department of Agriculture Rural Development to help our neighbors access vital home repair support. Keeping your home safe, warm, and secure is essential for a strong community, and we are here to make that process easier.

Through the Single Family Housing Repair program, eligible low-income homeowners in rural areas can access low-interest loans to modernize their homes or grants for elderly homeowners to remove health and safety hazards.

Whether you need to address urgent repairs or improve your living space, our team is ready to help you navigate the application process. Please note that this program is designed for rural locations and is not available for homes within the city limits of Terre Haute.

To see if your home qualifies or to get started with your application, please reach out to Kristi Whitacre at 812-238-1561 extension 224 or visit thrivewestcentral.com to learn more.

Is your home in need of essential repairs? Thrive West Central is excited to announce a new partnership with the United States Department of Agriculture Rural Development to help local homeowners access the Section 504 Home Repair Program. This initiative provides vital financial support to help residents repair, improve, or modernize their homes, ensuring they remain safe, warm, and secure. The program offers low-interest loans of up to $40,000 with a 20-year term at a fixed 1% interest rate for eligible low-income homeowners. Additionally, homeowners age 62 and older may qualify for grants of up to $10,000 to eliminate health and safety hazards or improve accessibility, such as installing ramps for those with limited mobility. To qualify, you must own and occupy your home in an eligible rural area. Please note that homes located within Terre Haute city limits are not eligible for this specific program. Thrive West Central is here to support you throughout the application process. To see if your home is in an eligible rural location or to learn more about our application support, please contact Kristi Whitacre at 812-238-1561 extension 224 or visit thrivewestcentral.com.
