Terre Haute Area Meals on Wheels, INC is a 501(3)c non- profit agency that has been providing food to the Terre Haute area, elderly, disabled, sick and home-bound for 51 years. Our Services are available to Anyone who has the ability to pay for Our Discounted Meals. With the help of community volunteers, we provide TWO (2), 1 Hot and 1 Cold, nutritious meal & Drink each weekday to our recipients for a minimal charge of $7.00. In addition to food, we offer a short visit to alleviate loneliness and hopelessness. Our volunteer drivers are the only socialization some of our recipients have all week long. We DO NOT receive any government reimbursement to help off set the ever rising costs of delivering meals. As a result, we MUST fundraise for operating expenses. 🍽️ Right now our Terre Haute neighbors need us more than ever. Unfortunately, the cost of getting a hot meal to each one’s door keeps climbing. Groceries, packaging, and utility costs have all increased.

Many may not know, but Meals on Wheels of Terre Haute is not nationally funded — we rely entirely on our community to keep the meals affordable for the elderly, sick, disabled, and homebound neighbors who have nowhere else to turn.

Every delivery is more than a meal. It's a wellness check. It's a friendly face. For many of our clients, it's the only visit they'll get that day. We truly appreciate our volunteers that make the deliveries and check-ins.

💚 A gift today — any size — helps us keep meals on the table and employed staff.
