Meet Jaxxon, super helper!

Here at SHINE we are dedicated to using the power of social media to share Indiana children that are in need of a long-term FAMILY... please like, comment and SHARE our posts of their stories in effort to reach someone who doesn't know it yet- but they're heart has room to change a child's life for forever.

Jaxxon is a great kid with a big heart! He’s a tremendous helper and is the first to step up when someone needs a hand! He’s very active and is always happy to get outside and run around having fun, he particularly enjoys riding his bike around with his buddies. He is a wonderful athlete and enjoys playing basketball and baseball and enjoys meeting all the new friends on the team. He’s very creative and loves working on crafts. If you give him some sticks and a bottle of glue, he’s going to come up with something super cool!

Jaxxon would do well in either a one or two-parent home and would love a forever family that came with older brothers or sisters he can look up to and learn from. He is very active so parents who can keep up and who like to do things together as a family are ideal. He appreciates having his own space so he can decompress when needed. Families who make education a priority are ideal.

Meet Jolene, wonderful friend!

Here at SHINE we are dedicated to using the power of social media to share Indiana children that are in need of a long-term FAMILY... please like, comment and SHARE our posts of their stories in effort to reach someone who doesn't know it yet- but they're heart has room to change a child's life for forever.

Jolene is a wonderful kid who cherishes her friends! She loves getting to FaceTime with them after school to talk about all the cool stuff that happened! She’s very excited to get her own cell phone someday so she can keep in touch whenever she wants. She works very hard to set a great example for the younger kids she lives with and wants them to know she’ll do whatever she can to help them out. She is very funny and doesn’t have any problems keeping a conversation going!

She’s a very active child and is always looking for more fun things to do! She plays basketball, she cheerleads, and she’s involved with the color guard and is definitely interested in picking up even more hobbies! She is wildly creative and enjoys expressing herself through her art and sketches. When it comes to color, the brighter the better! She would love to go to cosmetology school so that she can help everyone else look as cool as she does!

Jolene would do well in either a one or two-parent home and would love a forever family that came with siblings. She will thrive in a home with parents who make communication a priority and who ensure she knows she’s being heard and that what she wants matters. She does best with consistency and routine so she knows what to expect day to day. Interested families need to be willing to take on any therapeutic needs she may have in the future.

Meet Amari, Great Student!

Here at SHINE we are dedicated to using the power of social media to share Indiana children that are in need of a long-term FAMILY... please like, comment and SHARE our posts of their stories in effort to reach someone who doesn't know it yet- but they're heart has room to change a child's life for forever.

Amari is a great kid and a wonderful student! He excels in all his classes and his teachers absolutely adore him! He’s such a hard worker and isn’t afraid to lend a hand when someone else might need a little bit of assistance. He loves when adults want to talk to him and when they take an interest in what he’s doing, especially if they want to join in. When he feels supported there’s simply nothing he can’t accomplish!

He loves going to the park and running around having fun with everybody! He is a real acrobat and can even do standing backflips if you want to see something cool! He enjoys relaxing by putting on some good gospel music and enjoying time with the people he loves.

Amari would do well in either a one parent home or a two-parent home with a mom and dad, he would love older brothers or sisters he can look up to and learn from. His religion is very important to him so a family that goes to church would be ideal. He appreciates having his own space where he can relax when he needs it. He thrives with stability and consistency with parents who make sure he’s being heard and listened to. Interested parents need to understand the impact trauma can have on children.

Meet Elijah, Friends with everyone!

Elijah is a fun kid who is comfortable wherever he is! He knows exactly who he is and he’s pretty happy with how he’s turned out! He can get along with almost everybody and is happy making friends with whoever he meets throughout the day. He is extremely polite and enjoys holding doors for people and always says please and thank you. He’s very into tech and is excited for graduation when he can head off to college and maybe start studying something technology related!

Elijah would do well in either a one or two-parent home and would love a forever family that came with siblings. He will thrive in a home that provides stability and love and that makes sure he knows this is his forever home. He appreciates consistency and routine so he knows what to expect day to day. Being social is very important to him so he would love a family that likes to get out into the community. He has family members with whom he will need to stay in contact.

Meet Kaylee, wildly creative!

Here at SHINE we are dedicated to using the power of social media to share Indiana children that are in need of a long-term FAMILY... please like, comment and SHARE our posts of their stories in effort to reach someone who doesn't know it yet- but they're heart has room to change a child's life for forever.

Kaylee is very creative and loves working on different crafts and activities! She draws, traces, colors, and loves stencils, whatever she needs to make something beautiful! She makes her own crafts and enjoys when she can do whatever she wants so she can really unleash her creativity. She loves watching videos online and finding more tips to make cool stuff. When she’s not designing things, she loves getting to move around so she enjoys going to the park to kick soccer balls around or swimming in the pool. She also really enjoys gymnastics and showing off her best moves!

Kaylee would do well in either a one or two-parent home and would love older siblings she can look up to and learn from. She is very creative so parents who like to do crafts with her or who encourage her to use her imagination are ideal. She thrives with consistency and routine so she knows what to expect day to day. Parents who work had at communication are ideal. She hopes for parents who make education a priority and who are willing to help out when needed.
