This morning, the Terrell Police Department held its National Police Week Memorial Ceremony to honor and remember the law enforcement officers who made the ultimate sacrifice in the line of duty.

We were honored to stand alongside members of our community, fellow first responders, elected officials, and the families of those we have lost as we reflected on the meaning of service, sacrifice, and remembrance.

During the ceremony, we recognized the lives and legacies of fallen officers through the reading of names and end of watch, wreath placement, and a moment of silence. Their sacrifice will never be forgotten.

Thank you to everyone who attended and helped make this ceremony meaningful. We remain forever grateful to the officers who gave their lives in service to others, and to the families who continue to carry their legacy each day.
