We loved welcoming the kindergarteners from First Baptist Church to the Ag Learning Center! 🌾

Our little learners explored dairy cattle and discovered how milk gets from the farm to the foods we enjoy. Then, they put that learning into action by making their very own butter! 🧈🐄 We also learned all about how pumpkins grow—from seed to pumpkin 🎃🌱 and finished the lesson by creating our own beaded pumpkins to take home!

Learning about agriculture is always more fun when you can see it, make it, and experience it! 💚🚜 Thank you, First Baptist Church, for spending the day learning with us at the ALC

🌽🚜 Learning how farmers care for their animals!

Our Pre-K 4 friends from Goff Pleasant Playland had some hands-on farm fun at the Ag Learning Center!

They built barns to provide shelter, added hay for bedding and food, and learned that corn is an important feed for many farm animals. 🐄🐷🌽

Through this hands-on activity, they learned that farmers work every day to make sure their animals have the food, shelter, and care they need.

A big thank you to the Arkansas Corn & Grain Sorghum Promotion Board for helping fund agricultural learning experiences like this one! 💛🌽

🌽🐄 Farm fun with our Pre-K 2 friends!

Our Learning Station Pre-K 2 friends learned about taking care of farm animals!

They made barns to give their animals a home, added hay for a soft place to rest, and gave them corn to eat. 🏠🌾🌽

🎃🏚️ FROM FARM TO FUN: HAUNTED HOUSE WORKSHOP! 🌽🐄

Join us at the Ag Learning Center for a SWEET Halloween adventure!

Our little farmers will create their very own edible haunted houses while discovering how some of their favorite Halloween treats connect to agriculture! From marshmallow ghosts and chocolate doors to candy corn roofs and graham cracker walls, we'll explore how these sweet treats start on the farm! 🍫🌾👻 Perfect for early elementary students (Pre-K–2nd grade)!

We loved welcoming Shepherds Meadow Collective to the Ag Learning Center today!

Our visitors got their hands into agriculture as we explored some of the crops that play an important role in the food we eat and the products we use every day. We learned about corn, sunflowers, soybeans, and wheat through fun, hands-on activities designed to bring agriculture to life. 🌱

There’s nothing better than watching kids learn by doing, exploring, and asking questions!
